I was so excited to sit down with the director of Shriekfest, Denise Gossett, last night and talk writing and hiking. My short screenplay HIKING BUDDIES was a finalist for the Best Short Screenplay category at Shriekfest 2018, and I attended the festival last year, which was so much fun and such a great opportunity to meet other fantastic screenwriters.
